Tip 121 - Want to duplicate the glamorous hairstyle that Image Ready's Cindy Christi wore for the Barrett-Jackson Catwalk?
Read on!
Start by spraying the hair with a flexible setting spray or hairspray and comb through to evenly distribute the product for a nice hold when curling. Use two different size curling irons. Start setting the hair with a curling iron using 1" sections. Alternate using a 1 1/4 inch and a 3/4 inch iron to create a natural flow and variation with the curls.
Note: When the style needs to last all day and night, pin the curls with a metal clip to the scalp, let them dry and fully cool down before unclipping them to drop.
To start the style grab a section of hair at the crown of the head, backcomb and create a heavy cushion. Do not worry at this stage about it looking pretty, because the curls will be pinned onto this.
Alternating sides grab a one inch section from the front of the ear, pull it up, backcomb, and secure with a bobby pin onto your cushion. Then do the same thing on the other side. Continue this step until all of the front hair is securely pined to the back occipital bone. Once all the hair is securely fastened, continue to pin more curls from the bottom of the cushion, creating a cascading effect. Finish with a firm hairspray, and mist with a light shine spray to complete the style. Good luck my fellow bombshells!
